ARHAT and Robert
Hand
Robert Hand is one of the foremost and most renown
traditional astrologers of the 20th-21st Centuries. He has
written a number of excellent books and has translated works into
English that were originally written and published in Latin by master
astrologers like Guido Bonatti and Johannes Schoener. He is
founder of ARHAT, the Archive for the Retrievel of Historical
Astrological Texts, which "functions to procure, protect and publish
translations of historical astrological works." The Robert Hand
Library houses original texts and translations of over two dozen
ancient and medieval astrologers. Rob is a leading astrological
scholar and a talented teacher and faculty member of
Kepler
College of Astrological Arts and Sciences. Rob has been
instrumental in helping Gary with his ongoing research on planetary
periods. Rob's web site is a source of books written or
translated by him and it contains the ARHAT Journal where he posts
articles on Traditional Astrology. He is currently working on a
Ph.D. in medieval history.
Astro-Databank Wiki Project
The Astro-Databank wiki publishes the database of astrological
data collected by Lois Rodden and her cooperators, so that these data
can be used for astrological research, for astrological publications
and for serious astrological discussion. Access to the data
for these purposes is free of charge. Most of the chart data
for over 31,000 people and events was collected and verified
by the late Lois Rodden over the course of her lifetime. Lois
was known internationally for her diligence and integrity in data
collection and for her meticulous research. Gary is proud to
have personally known Lois and he collaborated with her to develop a
set of "Rodden Ratings" for mundane data lacking a time of day.

Kepler

The first accredited college in the western hemisphere
to confer a B.A. degree in Astrological Studies.

National Council
for Geocosmic Research (NCGR)
One of the most prestigious of the national astrological
organizations. Gary is a current member and is certified at
astrological competency Level 3 by this organization because he has
passed three levels of exams. He was
Vice President of the Metro Washington D.C. Chapter of NCGR from 2000
through 2004 and has given many presentations to NCGR chapters.
